Presidency University JRF Post. Applications are invited for a JRF position under CSIR project. An Interview on 6th September 2019 for one JRF Position in a CSIR Project at the Department of Chemistry, Presidency University, Kolkata dated.26/08/2019. Project Title: Stereoselective synthesis of fused oxa/aza-heterocycles via domino ring-opening cyclization of doner-acceptor cyclopropanes ’

Post: One JRF

Project Duration: ~1 yrs 6 months (extendable upto another year based on progress of the project and funding agencies recommendation)

Fellowship: JRF @ 31000/- per month + HRA (as per university norms) & (As per CSIR project guideline)

Minimum eligibility criterion: JRF: M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized University with at least 55% marks & LS-NET/ GATE qualification. A prior experience in chemical synthesis is highly desirable although is not mandatory. Maximum age limit is 28 years. Preference will be given to the candidate with organic chemistry background. Upper age limit relaxation of 5 years will be given SC/ST/OBC/Woman candidate

An interview will be held on 06-09-2019 at 12:00 noon at the Department of Chemistry, Presidency University

, Kolkata. All interested candidates are requested to submit their CV to [email protected] by 4th September 2019. Candidates will be shortlisted in case number of application is more than 10 and intimated one day in advance.

Applicants should report 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time of interview (06.09.2019) & submit the following documents in two sets. (Documents must be self-attested).

1. Application in plain paper addressed to the undersigned.

2. A detailed CV along with self-attested copies of all relevant testimonials.

3. Statement of research/ career goals 3. Thesis/ project report and published papers (if any)

4. Proof of date of birth

5. Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC The original certificates and mark sheets are to be presented before the Selection Committee at the time of the interview.

No TA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
