Project Staff in DBT project. Highly motivated and bright candidates are required for the position of Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant (PA) in the research project funded by DBT at INST. Title of the Research Project: “Reconstitutable Lyophilized Plasmonic Semishells as Near InfraRed Photothermal Nanotransducers for Cancer Treatment”.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Asifkhan Shanavas, Scientist-C
Name of the position available: Junior Research Fellow or Project Assistant
Number of positions available: One
Qualifications:
JRF: M.Tech or M.Pharm without NET/GATE etc and MSc with GATE/NET etc
Project Assistant: For M.Sc without GATE/NET etc
Desirable: Experience in nanomaterial synthesis, bacterial/mammalian cell culture.
Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on 29th August, 2019 which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.
Salary:
JRF: Rs.25,000/- + 10% HRA per month
Project Assistant: Rs.16,000/- + 10% HRA per month
Duration: Initially Six months and may be extended till end of the project based upon the
performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
General Terms and Conditions: The position
is purely temporary and on contractual basis. The position is co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented along with self-attested photocopies of these documents at the time of interview. Properly filled application form with recent photograph attached also should be presented at the time of interview.Mode of Interview: Candidate should appear for interview in person. However, candidates residing far off (>250Km) may request for online interview through Skype (send Skype ID to [email protected] by 26 th August, 2019).
