Applications are invited from motivated and bright candidates for the position of a Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) on contractual basis in the research project funded by SERB,
Government of India, at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali. Check out all the details on the same below:

Engineering Approach
Principal Investigator: Prof. Deepa Ghosh, Scientist-F.
Name of the position available: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of positions available: One
Qualifications:
1. Masters in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Pharmacy/Nanoscience/Material science
2. Qualified any one of the following: CSIR/UGC National Eligibility test or LS
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Joint Admission Test (JAM)
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) ICMR-JRF/ICAR-AICE/JEST/JGEEBILS
Desirable: Prior research experience in related fields will be preferred, but is not
mandatory.
Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on 2nd August, 2019 which is relaxable for
certain reserved categories SC/ ST/ PH/ OBC/Women candidates as per the rules of
the Government of India.
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA
Duration: Initially for one year and may be extended year to year basis till the
project ends
