Job Title: Assistant Manager – Production

Eligibility: B.E/ B.Tech

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Production

• Controlling all operating parameters for smooth running of the plant in the shifts.
• Maintaining logbook and shift report.
• Running the plant as per written SOP/WI.
• Batch entry in ERP (SAP / BAAN)
• Preparation of the daily production report and commercial report.
• To control leakages in plant
• Avoiding any abnormality in the plant by frequent checks.
• Implement the recommendation of WCM and IMS points in the shifts.
• Job allocation to technician and monitoring the work done.

Quality Control

• Implement the recommendation of WCM and IMS points in the shifts.
• Ensure customer requirements.
• Production Planning
• Shift Planning production of his plant.
• Monitoring and maintaining the raw material and utility consumption norms
• Liasioning with different function heads for better planning and co-ordination.
• Co-ordinate shutdown, maintenance planning and preventive maintenance planning with engineering.
• Inventory Management of products, raw materials and hazardous waste.
• WIP reduction in plants
• Safety, Environment and Health
• Compliance with company EHS policy in all aspects of plant operations during the shifts.
• Ensuring strict adherence to permit system.
• Safety of man and machine and housekeeping of the plant.
• Ensure proper disposal off effluent, as per the law.
• Employee Training and Development
• Ensure Individual development through series of T and D programmes.
• Ensure retention and development of High performers of the production team.
• Driving Job Rotation, multi-skilling and skill development at the shop floor to ensure capacity building.

Statutory Compliance

• Audit preparedness and compliance as per the customer requirements.
• Ensure EHS and Energy Compliances as per the applicable laws and regulations.
• 100% health check-ups of employees as per the workstation and job profiles.
