Project Title: “Development of new catalytic systems for efficient transformation of biomass/biomass derivatives to biofuel components”.
Objectives of the Project:
The objective of the project is to design and develop an efficient process for the transformation of biomass and biomass-derived components to value aided chemicals and fuel components.
Eligibility: Masters in relevant area with experience in biomass transformation with CSIR/UGC-NET or valid GATE score
Desirable: Candidates having exposure to biomass transformation are encouraged to apply.
Stipend: The amount of JRF/SRF fellowship will be as per SERB norms with 20% HRA (if hostel accommodation is not provided)
Duration: Initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to the duration of the project, solely based on performance.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Shortlisted candidates will be
intimated by e-mail informing date of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the
interview and preference will be given to candidates willing to pursue Ph.D degree at IIT
Indore.
