Job Title: Junior Research Associate-product Development

Eligibility: MSc Chemistry/ M Pharma/ M tech in chemistry
Experience:
- 2 to 4 years in Formulation development, Analysis of formulations, Handling of microorganisms,
- Hands on in Product development (liquids, emulsions etc)
Responsibilities :
Analysis of finished formulations and understanding ingredients, Formulating cosmetic and OTC products Handling of microbial cultures, on-time completion of the designated job, report writing and maintenance of lab and general laboratory activities.
Skills:
- Knowledge on formulation development, understanding of different formulations (emulsion and liquid). Handling and maintenance of bacterial and fungal cultures, common microbiological techniques like preparation of media, culturing of organisms.
- Knowledge on different standards for Hygiene, experience in scale-up of formulations. Regulatory understanding for OTC products
Job Description:
Formulation of emulsion (oil in water and water in oil), knowledge in emulsification system. Understanding of microbial metabolism, microbial
genetics, control of microbial growth and microbial mechanism of pathogenicity.- The person should be able to formulate basic emulsions and liquids, should have an understanding on physical and chemical parameters for analyzing and evaluating formulations like viscosity, density, pH active content etc.
- The candidate should be aware of stability conditions as per ICH for formulations.
- The person should be able to carry on basic microbiological techniques as Medium preparation, Culture of organisms, Determination of Minimum Inhibitory concentration of actives and should be confident in handling microbial strains.
- The person should have thorough knowledge on microbial metabolism, microbial genetics, control of microbial growth and microbial mechanism of pathogenicity.
