Walk-in-Interview will be conducted by Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali on 15 th March 2019 for highly motivated and bright candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow/ Project Assistant in DBT project. Highly motivated and bright candidates are required for the position of Junior Research Fellow /Project Assistant in the research project funded by DST All the details are available below:

Project Title: Gold capsuled combination nanomedicine for target-specific therapy of
chemoresistant breast tumors

Principal investigator: Dr. Asifkhan Shanavas

Job Title:  Junior Research Fellow (Project) / Project Assistant (PA)

No.of posts: 01

Eligibility: Chemical Sciences with GATE/NET etc. Candidates without GATE/NET etc. are eligible for PA position.

Desirable: Strong knowledge in nanomaterial synthesis. Research experience in molecular/cell biology with mammalian cell culture expertise is also preferred.

Age: Below 28 years as on the date of interview (relaxable as per Government of India norms)

Salary (pre-revised): ₹25,000+20% HRA per month for JRF with NET/GATE/MTech degree OR ₹16,000+20% HRA per month for PA without NET/GATE/MTech degree

Project duration: Initially one year with the possibility of extension.

Terms and Conditions:

• The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance.
• The position is co-terminus with the project.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
