Eligibility: First Class Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology or First Class
Masters Degree in Physics/ Chemistry or equivalent
Desirable Qualification: Certification Course/ Post Graduate Diploma in IPR
Desirable Experience: One year experience in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Term of appointment: Initially for 1 year, but likely to be extended based on the performance.
Salary:
- Rs.20,000/-per month (consolidated)
- Rs.23,000/- per month (consolidated), if the candidate is having 2 years experience in IPR.
Age limit: Not more than 35 years as on 01/11/2018.

Job Description:
- Project Scientist has to conduct prior art patent database search and determine the
patentability status of the inventions and guide the inventors in filing their Patents. - Project Scientist has to organize IPR awareness Seminars/ Workshops/Exhibitions and
other public awareness programmes throughout the State and also to support the inventors in - Patent drafting and filing.
- The job involves frequent travel within and outside the State to organize awareness/training
programmes on Intellectual Property Rights and for attending programmes/meetings. - Project Scientist should make presentations on the various aspects of IPR and also on the support provided by PIC-Kerala, in the awareness programmes organized by PIC-Kerala.
