Classification of the post: Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post

Eligibility:

• Post-Graduate degree in Chemistry with specialization in Physical Chemistry from a
  recognized University/ Institute.
• three years’ research/ practical/ teaching experience at degree level in Chemistry
  with specialization in Physical Chemistry; or
• Ph.D. in Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute.
• one years’ research/ practical/ teaching experience at degree level in Chemistry with
  specialization in Physical Chemistry.

Desirable:

• Experience in any Sugar factory or distillery or Industrial units.
• Experience in guiding research work in Physical Chemistry.

Pay Scale:  (PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-, as per 6th CPC

Job Description:

• Teaching, Research, and Advisory.
• Any other work assigned by Senior Officers/ Director.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
