Project Title: Synthesis Molecules Targeting Latent/I\4DR Tuberculosis

Job Title: Research Associate

Principal Investigator: Prof. Mariam S. Degani

Eligibility: M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemi stry),M.Tech (Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry),M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)

Desirable: Candidates should have good knowledge of basic Medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, process chemistry. He/she should be well-versed with chemical handling, synthesis techniques and CADD. The work involves design and synthesis of potential Antituberculosis agents.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/-per month, consolidated

Duration: The project fellow will be appointed initially for one year and the tenure may be extended based
on performance for the subsequent period. The project is likely to extend to three years. All appointments are terminated with the end of the project. The fell of can register for Ph.D., as per ICT rules.
