Eligibility:
- M.Sc.(Chemistry, Physics and Materials Science), M.E./M. Tech(Materials Science and Engineering)
- NET/GATE or equivalent.
Desirable:
Candidates with prior knowledge of energy storage device and synthesis of carbon nanomaterials are strongly preferred.
Description About the Project:
A method for conversion of hydrocarbon-rich waste into carbon will be developed in this study. The carbon will be grown on a solid support impregnated with a low-cost catalyst. These carbon electrode materials will be used as an active high surface area electrode for supercapacitor fabrication.
