Job Description:
- To ensure that compliance (regulatory, statutory and legal) are understood, implemented and monitored regularly.
- To implement Dr.Reddys policies and site objectives across the Plant & ensure that all site SHE objectives are met.
- To drive Parivartan Initiative in the factory by ensuring the sustenance through Line management and also coordinating with standard owners w.r.t implementation of respective safety standards.
- To represent location in BU level Safety meetings and expedite progress on the action points obtained from all BU level and Corp. Level Safety meetings by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Drive the implementation of Prevent Recurrence & other BU specific initiatives, review the progress and ensure Accidents/Incidents Reduction and Fire & Explosion Prevention.
- To ensure right classification of incidents and To investigate/ offer services as a part of investigations for selected incidents/ any industrial diseases contracted & dangerous occurrences and To Check and evaluate the effectiveness of the action taken or proposed to prevent injuries.
- To identify all location-specific risks and ensure their mitigation through the proper action plan.
- To ensure that proper risk assessments are done for any existing/ new projects. Coordinate MOC, PSSR & involve in PHAs.
- To ensure that high-quality PPE are purchased by coordinating with Store & Purchase departments and also ensure the availability of PPEs in the relevant work areas through the team.
- Monitoring of Occupational Health Management & employee & contractors medical examinations & record keeping.
- Regular site rounds/ safety inspections to ensure all safety norms are adhered to in the site and also ensure that all Safety systems (LOTO, PTW etc.,) are not violated through regular spot checks.
- Monitoring all compliances with the established procedure with respect to Safety, Health & Environment (like Mock drills, OHM, workplace monitoring, emergency controls etc.,)
- To Organize in association with the concerned department’s campaigns, competitions, contests and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the workers in establishing and maintaining safe conditions of work and procedures.
- To design the training programs either independently or in collaboration with the training department & ensure the same for compliance.
- Laisoning (with peers and outside agencies) to meet business objectives Support for customer/external statutory authorities/audits.
