Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant

Project Description : The project is focused to understand the molecular basis of the allosteric regulation mechanism in G Protein-Coupled Receptors (GPCRs), the major cell surface receptors involved in cellular signaling processes. The project will employ the stateof-the-art computer simulation techniques, which are the ultimate microscope that can zoom into the atomic level and capture the dynamic view of the system.
Salary: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + HRA for JRF (Candidates without NET/GATE qualification may be considered for a reduced salary of 12,000/- p.m. + HRA as per SERB rule).
Qualifications:
- MSc in Chemistry, Physics or Biophysics from a recognized University/Institute with
a minimum of 60% Marks or CGPA of 7.0 and above at a scale of 10. - Candidates must have Mathematics at the undergraduate (Bachelor) level.
- Preferably having qualified CSIR-UGC NET or GATE with a valid score or any other similar type of national level exam.
- Master students appearing for the final exam can also apply. However, final mark sheet must be submitted at the time of interview.
- Candidates should be below 27 years of age at the time of application.
Desirables : Candidates with computational chemistry/physics/biology experience, and sound
knowledge in computer programing (C/C++/Fortran, Python, Perl etc.) will be preferred.
