Position I

Name of the Position : Senior Scientific Assistant (Explosives)

Qualifications :

(i) Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Forensic Science from a recognized University or equivalent.(i) Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Forensic Science from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) One year’s experience or research analysis or teaching in the subject concerned or analytical work 111 a Forensic Science Laboratory or a recognized Scientific Laboratory in related fields.

Position II

Name of the Position : Senior Scientific Assistant (Narcotics)

Qualifications :

(i) Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Bio­Chemistry or Forensic Science from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) One year’s experience or research analysis or teaching in the subject concerned or analytical work in a Forensic Science Laboratory or a recognized Scientific Laboratory in related fields.

Emoluments : Rs.52,800/-*

Note:* (1) Amount of Pension will be deducted from the above remuneration in case or Government Pensioners.

Note: (2) Serving officers if appointed against these posts will

be deemed to be on deputation till the date of their retirement or one year (whichever is earlier) and they will be paid emoluments as admissible in their cadre alongwith Training Allowance@ 30% (pre-revised) as per rules. After retirement they will be deemed to be on contract basis and no other allowance of any type would be admissible.

Tenure : One year. The engagement can be terminated giving J months’ notice or emoluments in lieu thereof same condition will also be applicable in case the appointee leaves.
