Applications are invited from eligible candidates on plain paper for ONE post of JRF/Research Assistant on the research project entitled “Towards higher efficiency and lower emissions using Indian-origin biofuels: Developing a predictive CFD model with well validated reduced combustion kinetic for device scale applications” sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. The initial appointment is for a period of 12 months, starting from February 2018 to carry out research work in the group of Dr. Pranay P. Morajkar, FRL-4, Department of Chemistry, Goa University.

Salary:

Monthly emoluments for JRF: Rs. 25,000/- +20% HRA

Monthly emoluments for Research Assistant: Rs. 21,700/- +20% HRA

Qualifications: 

M.Sc. (Physical Chemistry, >60% Marks) with at least one year of research experience and good research aptitude skills. NET/SLET qualification is preferred.

Candidates may note that, incase

of satisfactory performance, the initial appointment may get extended up to TWO more years, subjected to approval from DST.
