Project Title:  Status of Nitrate Content in Animal Forages and Water and Early Warning System to Combat Nitrate Toxicity in Dairy Cattle

Principal Investigator: Dr.C.Kathirvelan, Ph.D., Assistant Professor Department of Animal Nutrition Veterinary College and Research Institute Namakkal -637002.

Age Limit: The upper age limit will be 35 years

Salary:  Rs. 10,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Qualifications: 

• Essential : B.Sc/M.Sc/M.phil in Bio-chemistry/Bio-technology /Chemistry With minimum 55% marks. Working experience in field survey and or Environmental Science Laboratory. Knowledge in computer will be a preferable qualification.
• Desirable : Feed, fodder and water samples collection in Namakkal, Karur, Salem and Dharumapuri districts and laboratory analysis
