It is proposed to engage, on contract basis, the services of Senior Research Fellow(Ay) and ( Life science)
initially for a period of six months to be posted to CORAS Hqrs/ICMR New-Delhi. Their services may be curtailed or
extended at the discretion of the Competent authority on need basis/performance of the individual on a monthly
remuneration mentioned against the post. The interview will be held on the date indicated against the post. The
required qualification and other details are as under:-

Qualifications:
Essential
Msc.(Botany)/Pharmacognosy AgriculturalSciences/Biotechnology(Plants) /Bio-Chemistry with 2 years research
experience prefrably in medicinal plants
Or
M.Pharma(Pharmacognosy)/ Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Or
M.Tech(Biotechnology).
Desirable
1. Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualification or who have previous research experience i.e having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH,ICMR,CSIR,DST or
equivalent organization.
2. Skills of drafting editiing of scientific documents/articles/technical reports etc. And working experience in managing research journals
3.Sound knowledge of ethno medicine and its applications and drug development.
4.Publication in peer
5.Working knowledge of computer applications.
Age : Age-not exceeding 35 years as on date of interview.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates fulfilling the essential qualification and age limit may apply in the prescribed proforma alongwith self attested copy of certificate in support of age and essential qualification and two passport size recent photographs. The candidates are required to appear for interview at the AYUSH Auditorium of the Council. The Candidates who are called for interview will be required to carry their original testimonials for verification. The interested candidates must reach the venue at 10.00 am on the stipulated date and beyond that, no
candidate will be allowed for interview.
Notes:-
1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on date of interview & Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt, of India Rules.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
