Applications are invited for walk-in interview for the post of “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” for a research project titled “National Carbonaceous Aerosols Programme (NCAP): Working Group III – Emissions, sources apportionment and climate effects” funded by Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India. The project is organized around a three-tier structure involving 17 institutions across India with BIT Mesra as a field institute.

Salary: Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA (as per institute rules)
Qualifications:
Post-graduate degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Civil / Environmental/Chemical Engineering, or (M.Sc. with NET qualification) in Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry or related disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable:
- GATE/NET
- The candidate should be prepared to participate in field work.
- Position require good communication skills in English.

- Interested candidates may appear for the walk in interview on 14 December 2017 from 10.30 am to be held in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi 835215, Jharkhand.
- Candidates are required to bring original certificates, passport size photo, updated resume and self-attested copy of certificates for the walk-in interview.
- Applicants may also submit advance copy of application through detailed resume by e-mail to rnaresh@bitmesra.ac.in.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.
- Successful candidate can enrol for Ph.D. program of the institute after qualifying the entrance examination.
- Hostel facility may be provided to the selected candidate subject to availability as per the institute rules.
