Junior Research Fellow for SERB DST Funded Project
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a multi-campus, multi-disciplinary research university that is accredited ‘A’ by NAAC and is ranked as one of the best research universities in India. The Center of Excellence in Advanced Materials and Green Technologies(COE-AMGT) & the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus, is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the project titled “Development of Pulsed Flow Packed Bed Electrochemical Reactor for Heavy Metals Removal from Groundwater and Wastewater.”
FUNDED BY : SERB, DST, Government of India
DURATION : Three Years
EMOLUMENTS : Rs. 25,000 + 20% HRA (subject to availability of SERB funds)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : M. Tech (Chemical Engineering) with first class; passion for research; ability to work systematically and hard
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Prior experience in fabrication, maintenance and operation of process equipment, Knowledge in Electrochemistry, Prior research experience
NOTE: The selected candidate will be expected to register for PhD (full time) at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
