University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UMDAE CEBS) has been established on the Kalina campus of the University of Mumbai to impart high quality education in the Basic Sciences after the 10+2 (or equivalent) level of schooling, in a vibrant academic ambiance by a faculty of distinguished teachers and scientists.
CEBS invites applications from eligible candidates for the below mentioned project posts on contract basis, on a consolidated honorarium for a period of one year, initially, extendable to a maximum of three years. Emoluments will depend on qualification and experience
Position IÂ
Job Title :Â Project Assistant (Chemistry)
No.of.Posts : 02
Age: Below 28 years
Minimum Consolidated Emolument :Â Rs. 32,500/-
Qualifications & Experience :Â MSc 1st division in Chemistry, preferably Organic Chemistry / Inorganic Chemistry / Physical Chemistry, as major subject
Position II
Job Title : Project Assistant (Chemistry)
No.of.Posts : 01
Age: Below 28 years
Minimum Consolidated Emolument : Rs. 28,000/-
Qualifications & Experience : BSc 1st division in Chemistry / Life Sciences. Duties will include operation and maintenance of Isothermal Titration
Calorimetry and general laboratory duties along with other functions.Position III
Job Title : Project Assistant (Chemistry)
No.of.Posts : 01
Age: Below 28 years
Minimum Consolidated Emolument : Rs. 28,000/-
Qualifications & Experience : BSc 1st division with Chemistry as major subject. One year of experience of working in a science laboratory is preferred.
