Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistant for the project entitled “Smart Biomimetic Molecular Crystal for Energy Conversion” under SERB, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The project involves synthesis, characterization, crystallization and kinematic studies of organic/metal-organic compounds which can respond to external stimuli such as heat, light, pH change etc.

Duration : Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable by another years solely based on the performance
Age Limit : Must not be over 28 years as on July 12, 2017 (relaxable as per the norms/orders of Government of India).
Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship : Rs. 20,000/- month.
Eligibility Criteria : The candidate must hold a M.Sc. degree in Chemistry as minimum qualification. However, candidates with previous experience in organic synthesis, crystallization of organic and organometallic compounds and cocrystallization will get preference.
