Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the position of one Junior Research Fellow in the following research project funded by SERB, Govt. of India, under the supervision of Dr. Nagarajan. S, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, NIT Manipur.
Research project title: “Subsurface Oxygen and its effect on catalytic process towards application in Environmental pollution”.

Qualification:
- Essential : M. Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized university or institute.
- Desirable : Experience in synthesis of materials and thin films
Duration: 3 years or completion of the project, whichever is earlier
Salary (Per month) :
- For NET/GATE qualified candidate: Rs. 25,000/- per month
- For non-NET/GATE: Rs. 18,000/- pm for the first two years and Rs. 20,000/- pm for the third year
- HRA will be 10% of the entitled monthly stipend

- The interview of the shortlisted candidates will be held on 22 nd May, 2017 in the Department of Chemistry, NIT Manipur.
- Candidate selected for this position may apply for the regular PhD program provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion for PhD program in Chemistry department, NIT Manipur.
- Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview.
- Mere fulfilment of the required qualifications and experience does not entitle a candidate to be shortlisted or called for interview. The Principal Investigator of the project reserves the right to fill or not fill the position.
