- Applications are invited in the enclosed format giving full details of academic records supported by evidence, for Graduate Apprentice /Technician Apprentice (Diploma)/Trade Apprentice (ITI) Training in various Disciplines/Trades for a period of 1 year.
- Who can apply: The scheme would be open to brilliant students in the age group of 18 – 25 years and who have passed GRADUATES/DIPLOMA/ITI in the streams mentioned below and passed out not earlier than 2014. The candidates who have passed in the qualifying examinations are eligible to apply. Those who have undergone Apprenticeship training terminated for any reason whatsoever during the Apprenticeship and employed for a period one year or more are not eligible to apply.
- The number of candidates to be trained this year in each trade/discipline is as under:
Graduate Apprentice (Non- Engineering) – 3 Nos. (B.Sc./ M.Sc. Chemistry) - Stipend – Rs. 7500/-
- The selected candidates will undergo one year apprenticeship training NIT, Tiruchirappalli. Upon the completion of one year training period, the candidates will have to undergo All India Trade Test conducted by Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training, Government of India for which certificate will be issued. No service certificate will be issued to the candidate under any circumstance. The selection for the training will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination/test/interview.
Instructions:
- Use the NIT-T Application form and Admit card given below and fill neatly with Ball point pen in BLOCK Letters.
- Initial Short-listing is based on Academic performance & Age.
- Only the shortlisted candidates will be informed and through www.nitt.edu website to appear for written test/interview and through Email **.
- Dates for written Test & Interview will informed through Institute web site www.nitt.edu . Applicants are advised to visit the web site www.nitt.edu for details and updates.
- Only those who pass the written test will be allowed for Interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending Test/Interview change if date for written test and Interview is not permitted.
- The Apprenticeship Training under different trades/disciplines in NIT-T is purely temporary for period of one year.
- Liable for termination prematurely with 1 month notice.
- Age is restricted 18 to 25 years as on 4 March 2017
- Send your Application form with necessary support documents on Qualifications, Admit Card& Certification by Speed Post/Courier on or before 20.03.2017 bring one copy of the Admit Card
- NIT-T will not be responsible for any Delay / Loss of application during transit or due to other reasons
- Applications received after the due date, or application not in prescribed NIT-T form or incomplete applications without enclosures etc., will be summarily rejected. No communication is entertained.
- Those who undergone apprenticeship training in NIT-T earlier are not eligible to apply again.
- Decision of Selection Committee is final and binding. Institute reserves right to cancel the section at any point of time.
- Filled application form along with Xerox copies of the certificates (10th/ +2/ ITI/ Diploma/ Degree/ PG Degree) should reach on or before 20.03.2017 to the following address superscripted “APPLICATON FOR THE APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING – 2017”, along with enclosures should be sent to:“The Registrar, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ( N.I.T.), TIRUCHIRAPPALLI-620015, Tamilnadu”.
