We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Creation & Design (C&D) team as Seasoning Flavorist. Come join the global Ingredients leader where science and creativity meet to create essential solutions for a better world!
Your Focus
As a Seasoning Flavorist at IFF, you will support Flavour Business in New Business Generation through creation and application focusing mainly on Seasonings for Snacks & Savoury customers in India. You will manage Product Development briefs in snacks and Savoury category and provide technical support to customers created for new launches.
This is a Gurgaon
, India-based position and will report to the Design Manager.How You Will Contribute
- Independently develop seasonings in line with business need and in response to customer brief and strategize the priorities.
- Have competence in creation and should possess good knowledge on the properties of raw materials used in Seasoning creation.
- Develop and acquire required technical knowledge and competencies in the area of creation, application.
- Knowledge and understanding of regional taste differences and able to apply to work appropriately.
- Demonstrate consistent year-over-year portfolio progression.
- Interact with cross functions like QA, Operations, and supply chain on regular basis.
- Upgrade knowledge on latest trends in food industry.
- Identify resources – internal and external to enhance technical capability in creating winning seasonings.
- Promote sales of existing seasonings by providing suitable technical suggestions to both commercial team and Customer.
- Conduct innovation sessions at customer end and promote IFF technology.
Job Requirements
- B.Tech or M.Tech Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Life Sciences or Food Engineering.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the creation of seasonings for Snacks & Savoury application from reputed industries.
- Strong interest in evaluating new raw materials and assessing potential for future use in creating new flavors.
- Comfortable working in a B2B environment with a positive, self-driven or results-oriented attitude.
- Strong oral and written proficiency in the English language.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork, customer orientation, project management, effective time management skills with proven ability to oversee all assigned projects and meeting deadlines are highly desirable.
