Job Responsibilities :
- Application of computational methods to the discovery, optimization, and development of New Chemical Entity / material products
- Partners with other chemists / client to assist in the design and prioritization of synthetic targets, identifies gaps in current approaches, and devises innovative solutions to resolve issues
- Thorough with computational techniques relevant to drug discovery / material science
- Through with Virtual screening, Structure based design, Ligand based drug / material design
- Experience with Molecular dynamics and Quantum chemistry is highly desirable
- Experience with FEP / H2O Map using commercial are opensource tools highly desirable
- Calculation of physicochemical properties, 2D/3D QSAR / QSPR (linear / non linear)
- Shape and electrostatic comparison, homology modeling, docking, pharmacophore modeling, Chemoinformatics approaches
- Use of industry standard modeling tools such as Schrodinger / MOE / AutoDock / Molecular dynamics tools / QM tools is must.
- Use of DEREK / TOPKAT or other toxicological tools is advantageous
- Experience with tools such as KNIME / Pipeline Pilot Tools
- Experience handling Linux and GPU systems and Scientific Programming and automation of Computational tasks
