Applications are invited for one “Research Associate” position to work in a CSIR project entitled “Synthesis and Development of chiral metal organic frameworks and their application in asymmetric catalysis” under supervision of Dr. Surendra Singh. Appointment will be made as per CSIR guideline for RA position and detailed requirements are given below.

Age Limit :The upper age limit for applying for award of RA shall be 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to scheduled castes/scheduled tribes/OBC, physically handicapped and women applicants.
Nature of Work : Synthesis and characterization of metal organic framworks and their evaluation of catalytic activity in asymmetric organic transformations.
Qualifications:
Eligibility
a) Candidate must have M. Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or equivalent (Candidate with background of Organic synthesis/ asymmetric catalysis/ asymmetric synthesis will be preferred)
b) Ph.D. thesis submitted is also eligible for RA’ship. Selection in such cases will be subject to the condition that Ph.D. viva-voce done & declared
qualified for award of Ph.D./awarded Ph.D. degree before the expiry of the validity of the award offer.c) The candidate applying for Research Associateship must have at least one research publication in standard refereed journal as listed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
Employed candidates, whether temporary or permanent, and also those who have already availed higher fellowships like Senior Research Associateships etc. will not be considered for RA’ship.
