Applications in plain paper are invited for the temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Research Associate (RA) in a CSIR sponsored research project entitled, “Functionalized graphene based nanocomposites and their electrocatalytic applications in direct methanol fuel cells” under Professor Swapan K. Dolui, Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam – 784028, Assam.
Qualification:
- For JRF: Possessing M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (Specialization: Physical /Organic/ Polymer) with 60% marks and passing NET/GATE or M.Tech in Polymer Science and Technology with GATE.
- For SRF: Possessing M.Sc/M.Tech and at least 2 years of research experience.
- For RA: Possessing Ph.D degree in Chemistry.
Fellowship: JRF: Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) only per month / SRF: Rs. 14,000/- (Rupees fourteen thousand) only per month / RA: Rs. 36,000/- (Rupees thirty six thousand) only per month
Age limit: Candidate shall not be more than – JRF: 28 years / SRF: 32 years / RA: preferably below 40 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
Duration: Three years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier

Short listed candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, certificates of NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications, any other testimonials and a copy of recent curriculum vitae (CV). The interview will be held in the last week of July, 2017. The short listed candidates will be called for the interview.No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
