Job Description
The advertisement invites online applications for the engagement of Research Interns under the CSIR-CDRI Research Internship Program (project code CLP09007).
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry / Chemical Sciences / Medicinal Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
- The candidate should have completed the master’s degree in the year 2025-2026.
Desirable Qualification:
- GATE / NET-LS / DST-INSPIRE / GPAT or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Organic Chemistry.
Age Limit: Upper age limit 28 years, reckoned as on the last date of submission of the online application.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates, or as per Government of India instructions. Candidates seeking relaxation must attach the relevant certificates in the prescribed format.
Salary
Stipend: Rs. 12,500 per month (consolidated).
Documents Required
- Certificates for age relaxation, in the prescribed format, for candidates seeking relaxation.
- Conversion of CGPA/SGPA/OGPA into an equivalent percentage using the university’s approved formula, attached with the application, for candidates whose final certificates show CGPA/SGPA/OGPA.
- Original documents (qualification, date of birth, caste and age-relaxation certificates) will be verified on selection.

- If a large number of candidates apply, the Screening Committee may apply additional screening criteria beyond the essential and desirable qualifications and shortlist candidates for the online interview in proportion to the vacancies.
- The prescribed qualifications are the minimum. Applicants should mention all qualifications and experience in the relevant area, supported with documents.
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be notified on the CDRI website. The interview date will be communicated to shortlisted candidates by e-mail.
