Positions Available:
- 01 Project Associate-I: M.Sc. (Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry) or B.Tech (Biochemical Engg/Bioprocess Engg/Biotechnology/Fermentation Technology); desirable: microbial biotechnology, fermentation or bioprocess development.
- 02 Project Associate-I: M.Sc. Microbiology or Biotechnology; desirable: basic microbiology and/or molecular biology techniques.
- 03 Project Associate-I: M.Sc. Chemistry/Chemical Sciences; desirable: R&D experience in organic/medicinal chemistry.
- 04 Project Associate-I: M.Sc. Botany/Biotechnology with practical experience in plant biochemical or physiological functioning.
- 05 Project Associate-I: M.Sc. Floriculture and Landscaping; desirable: cultivation and propagation of floricultural crops.
- 06 Project Associate-I: M.Sc. Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Chemical Sciences; desirable: analytical chemistry and quality control.
- 08 Project Assistant-II: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Biology; desirable: laboratory work, MS Office, data management and reporting.
Emoluments:
- Project Associate-I: Rs 31,000 + HRA for NET/GATE or equivalent qualified candidates, otherwise Rs 25,000 + HRA.
- Project Assistant-II: Rs 20,000 + HRA.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years (relaxation as per GoI rules).
Mode of Selection: Walk-in interview. The CSIR-IIIM Jammu Walk-in will be conducted at the institute venue listed below.
Venue: CSIR-IIIM, Canal Road, Jammu.
Documents Required: Candidates must bring the duly filled Annexure-I (available in the advertisement) at the time of the interview, along with originals and self-attested copies.
Project Duration: Positions are co-terminus with the project, sanctioned up to 31 March 2027.
