Job Description
Under Amity Scientist-C Recruitment, the Scientist-C will be responsible for applying for national and international sponsored research projects as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI). The role involves increasing external and industry-sponsored research funding, strengthening interdisciplinary and translational research, and supporting the operation and maintenance of advanced instrumentation, particularly NMR facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply for national and international sponsored research projects as PI/Co-PI.
- Increase external and industry-sponsored research funding.
- Strengthen interdisciplinary and translational research.
- Support operation, maintenance, and scientific management of advanced instrumentation, including the NMR facility.
- Assist in academic coordination, research training, and mentoring of scholars and students.
- Enhance publications, patents, technology development, and collaborative research.
Eligibility Criteria
- M.Pharm. / M.Sc. in Chemical, Biological, or Molecular Science.
- PhD from a premier institution (thesis-submitted candidates can also apply).
- A minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent publication record in reputed international journals.
- Demonstrated experience in obtaining and executing sponsored research projects as PI/Co-PI.
- Expertise in advanced analytical and research instrumentation, particularly NMR and related analytical facilities.
