Job Description
In this MSc Chemistry Job, the Analyst 1 role at TÜV SÜD involves performing various laboratory tests and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, maintaining laboratory documentation, and following regulatory requirements to ensure accurate results.
Key Responsibilities
- Must abide by the rules & regulations of the laboratory.
- Responsible for performing tests as per authorisation and ensuring TAT compliance.
- Ensure safe handling of equipment.
- Fill all logbooks for the equipment as per usage.
- Ensure you wear all PPEs and lap aprons before performing tests.
- Follow safety rules & maintain 5S.
- Follow ISO 17025 requirements in the lab with respect to quality compliance and other regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in the operation of ICP-OES for minerals and metals testing.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: M.Sc. in Chemistry / Food Technology / Food Science
Required Skills
- Validation and verification as per the EC regulation guidelines.
- Sample preparation and extraction of metals and minerals from various food and agricultural products.
- Quantification of metals & minerals by ICP-OES techniques.
- Plan and execute reactions independently with proper reagents as per applicable SOP.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines in the lab.
- Recording of analytical observations, necessary data, and accurate calculations.
- Preparation of standard solutions and maintenance of CRM.
- Maintenance of laboratory documents and records.
