Junior Research Assistant Position: Job Description
The Junior Research Assistant role involves conducting various tests and analyses in the soil, water, and plant testing lab. Candidates are expected to have a solid understanding of standard laboratory analytical methods (AOAC / IS) and possess the ability to work efficiently in a laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct soil, water, and plant testing analyses.
- Utilize standard laboratory analytical methods (AOAC / IS).
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory results.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of laboratory reports.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Sc. in Agriculture or Chemistry from a recognized university.
- Knowledge of AOAC/IS analytical methods.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office.
- At least two years of experience in a soil, water, and plant testing lab.
- Experience in NABL-accredited laboratories is preferred.
