Post: Project Scientist -1 (PS-1) – one post
- No. of Vacancies: 1
- Essential Qualification: Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences/Agricultural Sciences or Masters/Integrated masters in Engineering and Technology from a recognized university or equivalent with 4 years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organizations.
- Desirable: Candidates having research experience in plant/agricultural sciences with experience in bioinformatics/molecular biology would be preferred.
- Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA
- Job Description: To develop new methods of analysis for FCO compliant biostimulant markers and assist in the development of new biostimulant formulations.
Post: Project Associate-I (6 posts)
- No. of Vacancies: 6
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Candidates having research experience in the area of carbohydrate chemistry/polysaccharides will be preferred.
- Monthly Emoluments: (a) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET or GATE; (b) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others.
- Job Description: The candidate will work on the removal of interfering compounds during seaweed polysaccharide characterization and the development of new FCO compliant formulations.
Age Limit: 35 years as on the last date of receiving applications (age relaxation as per CSIR rule). These CSIR-CSMCRI jobs are subject to the stated eligibility conditions.
