Job Description:
For this quality control job, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated candidate Raw Material Testing Specialist: to join its Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of raw materials used in production. The candidate will be responsible for sampling, chemical testing, and batch release activities: in accordance with GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sampling of raw materials according to established SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Conducting chemical testing using validated analytical methods (e.g., titration, spectroscopy, chromatography).
- Performing batch release testing and documenting results to support manufacturing timelines.
- Maintaining accurate records in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with QA/Production teams to ensure timely approval and release of materials.
- Troubleshooting analytical issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledgeable about cGMP, SOPs, and STPs, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to specifications.
- Ensure all activities are documented contemporaneously in line with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Eligibility for Quality Control Jobs:
- Educational qualification: A Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum work experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
Required Skills:
- Keen attention to detail in analysis and documentation, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for communicating with the Group Leader, reporting discrepancies, incidents, and providing timely updates.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills in addressing discrepancies, incidents, and ensuring smooth laboratory operations.
- Upholds ethical standards, compliance with SOPs, and follows regulatory requirements in all activities.
