Job Description:
This project work involves the synthesis and development of MXenes and their heterostructures with MOF and Metal Oxides for the degradation and detoxification of life-threatening chemicals and toxic industrial gases. Responsibilities also include prototype fabric development, advanced materials characterization (FESEM, XRD, XPS, XAS, TEM/HRTEM, BET, ICP-OES, RAMAN, etc.), and detoxification studies. For this IIT Indore JRF vacancy, the candidate may be required to travel to RRCAT Indore for synchrotron studies at Indus beamlines and to DRDE Gwalior for detoxification studies.
Eligibility Criteria for IIT Indore JRF Vacancy
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science/Nanoscience OR M. Tech. in Materials Science and Engineering/Nanotechnology or equivalent discipline (with 1st division as defined by the awarding Institute/University).
- A candidate who has qualified GATE or NET-LS or NET-PhD will be preferred.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Fellowship:
- ₹37,000 per month + 16% HRA (As per Institute/Govt. Rules).
