DRDO RCI Apprenticeship: Job Details
Position: Apprentices (Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Trade)
Duration: One year
Essential Qualifications:
- B.E. / B. Tech in ECE, Instrumentation Engg, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical Engg, Metallurgical Engg, Safety Engg, Aeronautical Engg, Aerospace Engg, and Civil Engg.
- Diploma in relevant technical fields.
- ITI pass out in Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Electronic-Mechanic, Electrician, COPA (Computer Operator Programming Assistant), Draughtsman Engg (Mech), and Grinder.
Stipend: As per Government norms.
No of Vacancies: 50 for Graduate Apprentice, 30 for Technician Apprentice, and 115 for Trade Apprentice.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must not be less than 18 years of age as on 01st September 2026.
- Regular candidates who secured 70% or CGPA 7.5 and above in qualifying examinations (Graduate, Diploma, and ITI trade, for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026) are eligible to apply.
DRDO RCI Apprenticeship: Application Procedure
- Candidates should ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned in the detailed advertisement available on https://drdo.gov.in.
- Registration on the NATS 2.0 portal for B.E / B.Tech / Diploma candidates is mandatory.
- ITI trade candidates must register on the Apprenticeship India portal.
- For the DRDO RCI Apprenticeship, applications must be submitted through the respective portals.
- The last date for receipt of online applications is 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the newspaper.
Documents Required:
- Duly filled Application Form.
- NATS / NAPS profile printout.
- 10th class Mark sheet and certificate.
- Consolidated / Final Mark sheet of Qualifying Exam.
- Original / Provisional Certificate of Qualifying Exam.
- Caste Certificate (if applicable).
- PWD Certificate (if applicable).
- Valid EWS Certificate (if applicable).
- Any Government-issued Photo ID card.
- Aadhaar Card (Mandatory).
- Copy of Aadhaar Seeded Bank Pass Book / Statement.
- Medical fitness certificate issued by a Govt Civil Assistant Surgeon.
- Two latest Passport size photographs.
