As a Junior Officer, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving operational goals at Johnson Matthey. This Johnson Matthey recruitment opportunity involves adhering to standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety policies, and supervising plant operations. The Junior Officer will also manage batch operations and support audit inspections, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to SOP & complete BRS on time.
- Comply with EHS requirements & policies.
- Maintain effective communication during shift changeovers.
- Supervise plant housekeeping and ensure spill control procedures.
- Operate and oversee equipment like glass-lined reactors, filters, dryers, pumps, centrifuge, etc.
- Optimize consumption of utilities and other materials for cost control.
- Manage batch operations including raw material dispensing, loading/unloading, and packaging.
- Lead the process and supervise shop-floor activities in the absence of the shift officer.
- Support audit inspections and ensure compliance.
- Follow emergency response plans in case of incidents.
- Maintain ISO documentation, perform weighing balance calibration, and update other IMS documents, SAP entries.
Johnson Matthey Careers: Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in the medium-to-large-scale specialty chemicals/pharma batch industry.
Required Skills:
- Ability to understand critical operations and resolve/report abnormalities.
- Knowledge of good housekeeping practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency for SAP entries and documentation.
- Self-motivated with strong team collaboration skills.
