IACS Research Associate-I Job Description
The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science invites applications for an IACS Research Associate-I position under the supervision of Dr. Biman Jana. The selected candidate will engage in research related to theoretical and computational physical chemistry, contributing to ongoing projects in biophysical chemistry.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A candidate should have first class or high second class in B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Chemistry/Physics/Biotechnology or any other relevant subject areas with a minimum average of 55% marks.
- The candidate must have obtained a Ph.D. degree or submitted their thesis recently.
- Research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of theoretical/computational physical chemistry, preferably in biophysical chemistry, is desirable.
Fellowship Details:
- Fellowship: As per rules of IACS.
- Tenure of Fellowship: 1 year from the date of joining as RA-I, extendable for another year based on performance review by the progress monitoring committee.
- The candidate will have no right to claim any post in the institute.
