The Process Development Scientist will play a critical role in conducting experiments, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This Syngene scientist job requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to lead development programs with minimal direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quality research reports and engaging in technical discussions with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute individually by performing experiments (targeting 1-2 experiments in a working day) in lab and provide scientific leadership.
- Effectively manage resources to ensure productivity and quality as per Syngene standards and customer requirements.
- Provide creative and innovative solutions to technical problems backed by a sound understanding of fundamental scientific principles.
- Develop chemical processes that are safe, scalable, and cost-effective for pilot/commercial scale manufacturing.
- Encourage automation in PRD work and other best scientific practices.
- Prepare quality weekly research and development reports.
- Ensure flawless execution of scale-up activities with 100% compliance on safety, quality, and data integrity.
- Identify development needs of the team and map them under the appropriate training matrix.

Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from premier institutes in India or abroad, along with 1-2 years of experience in process research in the industry, preferably in contract research.
