Job Description
The Quality Control Analyst Job involves routine analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples in accordance with approved specifications, pharmacopoeial standards, SOPs, and GMP requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and instrumental analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, pH meter, and analytical balances.
- Perform testing as per IP, BP, USP, Ph. Eur., and approved specifications/methods.
- Prepare and standardise reagents, volumetric solutions, mobile phases, and analytical solutions.
- Review analytical results and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Maintain accurate analytical worksheets, logbooks, COA, and laboratory records.
- Follow GMP, GLP, SOPs, data integrity, and safety requirements.
- Assist in investigation of OOS, OOT, deviations, and analytical discrepancies.
- Support method validation, method verification, system suitability, and analytical method transfer activities.
- Perform instrument calibration and routine maintenance as per schedule.
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping and ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and samples.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, R&D, and Regulatory departments when required.
- Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement activities.
Job Eligibility
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, B.Pharm/M.Pharm, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, veterinary pharmaceutical, API, or formulation manufacturing will be preferred.
- Candidates with practical knowledge of HPLC/GC will be preferred.
- Good understanding of GMP, GLP, pharmacopoeial testing, and laboratory documentation.
- Freshers with relevant analytical laboratory knowledge may also apply.
