Job Description
The Quest Global Process Engineer will be responsible for understanding engineering documents, collecting and validating process operating data, and analyzing key process inputs. This role requires collaboration with clients and participation in review meetings to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Understand engineering documents as per workflow requirements.
- Collect, validate, and organise process operating data from refinery and petrochemical units.
- Experience in data collection and analysis utilising process historian software (PI System, CREDO, PRO-II, PDMS, and XHQ/Seeq, etc.).
- Analyse key process inputs including pressure, temperature, flow, composition, AIT, flash point, H₂S and ammonia concentration, and other safety-critical parameters.
- Understand technical summaries, data sheets, and engineering documentation as per workflow requirements.
- Participate in review meetings and provide support to clients.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Good understanding of refinery and petrochemical unit operations.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, datasheets, and equipment design documents.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to handle and analyze large datasets.
- Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and strong data discipline.
- Team-oriented with good coordination skills.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in any manufacturing facility (Continuous process) – Refinery/Petrochemicals/Fertilizers/Chemicals background is preferred.
