Minimum Essential Eligibility Criteria:
1. Foreman (Chemical)
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in Chemical / Petrochemical / Chemical Technology / Petrochemical Technology with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Upper Age Limit: 32 years.
- Pay Scale: ₹28,500–₹86,570.
2. Operator (Chemical)
- Qualification: Candidates should have either:
- B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks, or
- B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Upper Age Limit: 30 years.
- Pay Scale: ₹25,000–₹81,430.
3. Operator (Chemical) Trainee – PwBD
- Qualification: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% marks OR B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry with at least 50% marks.
- Training: Selected candidates will undergo a minimum one-year training period.
- Stipend: ₹21,000 per month.
- Upper Age Limit: 30 years.
Age Relaxation:
- For BCPL Recruitment 2026, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates where applicable. PwBD candidates can receive age relaxation of 10 years for General/EWS, 13 years for OBC (NCL), and 15 years for SC/ST categories, subject to the conditions stated in the notification. The maximum age after applicable relaxations cannot exceed 56 years.
Salary & Benefits:
- Candidates selected for regular positions will undergo a one-year probation period and receive initial basic pay according to the applicable pay scale.
- In addition to basic pay, BCPL states that eligible employees may receive Industrial Dearness Allowance, perquisites at 35% of basic pay, North-East allowance at 10% of basic pay when posted in the North-East region, HRA, medical facilities, pension-related benefits and other applicable benefits under company rules.
