Job Description
In this Lab Technician Job, the Technician – Lab 1 will be responsible for understanding and following quality management system documents relevant to their roles. The position involves performing tests under supervision, ensuring data confidentiality, and maintaining technical records. The technician will also inform the lab supervisor of any equipment issues and assist in routine testing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow the quality management system documents relevant to the jobs & responsibilities.
- Perform testing as per the correct test standard under supervision.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data/information generated.
- Carry out routine test/setup verification to ensure quality.
- Handle instrument operation based on authorization.
- Maintain technical records as per requirements.
- Record initial observations, necessary data, and calculations.
- Inform the lab supervisor of any equipment breakdown or irrelevant test results.
Eligibility Criteria:
B. Tech/Diploma in Textile or BSC Chemistry, Textile related.
Required Skills:
- Support laboratory testing activities in accordance with TÜV SÜD quality standards.
- Assist in routine testing operations under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
