The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata, is an Institute of National importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilisers, Government of India. NIPER Kolkata has established the Centre for Marine Therapeutics (CMT) and is engaged in the development of new processes for marine therapeutics.

Applications are invited for the recruitment of the following posts at NIPER Kolkata purely on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months, which could be extended based on the candidate’s performance.
Positions Available
- Research Associate-I – 01 Position
- Program Officer – 01 Position
Eligibility Criteria
Research Associate-I: Upper age limit: 35 years. Educational qualification: PhD awarded or submitted. Expertise in multi-step synthesis of natural products/complex molecules is required.
- Salary: Rs 58,000/- + HRA.
Program Officer: Upper age limit: 30 years. Educational qualification: Postgraduate degree in organic/medicinal/natural product chemistry. For this NIPER Kolkata job opening, preference will be given to candidates who have cleared GATE/GPAT/other National tests.
- Salary: Rs 32,000/-.
