Tezpur University JRF Job Description
The Tezpur University JRF selected candidate will work on a research project aimed at developing a plasmonic biosensor. The role involves conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the overall objectives of the project under the guidance of the principal investigator. The position is temporary and comes with a competitive fellowship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and experiments related to the project.
- Analyze data and document findings.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in project management.
- Prepare reports and presentations based on research outcomes.
- Participate in meetings and discussions related to project progress.
- Contribute to publications and dissemination of research findings.
- Assist in the supervision of undergraduate students, if required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the principal investigator.
Tezpur University JRF Eligibility Criteria:
- B.S. 4-year programme in Physics/Chemistry/Electronics/Instrumentation/Bioengineering/Biotechnology or equivalent.
- Integrated BS-MS/MSc in relevant fields.
- BE/BTech or equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Must have qualified NET/GATE examination.
- Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 28 years as of the application deadline.
- Age relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Emolument:
Rs. 37,000/- (Rupees thirty-seven thousand) per month for the first two years and Rs. 42,000/- (Rupees forty-two thousand) per month for the third year, plus HRA as admissible.
Duration:
- The appointment will initially be for one year, which may be extended based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.

- All original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets and certificates from 10th standard onwards.
- Caste certificate (if applicable).
- Experience certificate (if any).
- NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications.

- Any other relevant testimonials.
