Unilever Senior Quality Executive Job Description
The Unilever Senior Quality Executive will support the delivery of unmissable brand superiority by strengthening quality governance, consumer safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across Home Care India factories and Liquid contract manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in driving end-to-end quality governance, focusing on consumer safety, product quality, and compliance across various manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the Home Care India quality strategy through strong governance of QMS, GMP, UQP, audit compliance, and quality risk controls.
- Lead implementation of QMS changes and ensure timely communication and compliance across factories and contract manufacturing sites.
- Monitor internal audit status, Quality One/QLI records, and lifecycle status; escalate delays and seek clarification where necessary.
- Provide technical guidance on quality standards and documentation requirements to support compliant decision-making.
- Partner with various teams on change management, risk assessment, and post-launch monitoring.
- Ensure innovations and formulation changes are assessed for quality risk before commercial production.
- Drive continuous improvement through structured RCA, CAPA, and incident trend analysis.
- Represent Quality in cross-functional forums and engage with external partners to resolve quality system issues.
Eligibility Criteria:
- University degree in a technical discipline such as Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Packaging.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Home Care Quality, Factory Quality, or Supply Chain Quality.
- Strong understanding of QMS, GMP, audit management, and quality controls.
- Ability to analyze quality data and drive preventive actions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Future-fit digital mindset with experience in quality dashboards and digital systems.
