What You Will Do:
- Lead product compliance activities, communicating with suppliers to obtain necessary compliance documentation ensuring adherence to global regulations such as Substance Test Reports.
- Manage supplier EH&S declarations and certifications, DoNU, REACH, RoHS, FMD, and other environmental directives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and manage chemical and material risks associated with products.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to product compliance, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), declarations, and technical files.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary amendments to product designs and processes.
- Handle Customer Environmental Requests (CER’s) on the Salesforce platform and fulfill customer surveys/forms.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and future trends concerning EHS.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Chemical/Environmental/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Industrial).
- 2 to 4 years of experience in product stewardship, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of global environmental regulations such as REACH, RoHS, DONU, FMD, test reports, and Halogen reports.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to product development.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in managing compliance with global regulations.
- Experience with regulatory databases and product compliance tools, such as SAP EH&S, IMDS, or similar systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively communicate complex regulatory requirements to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in desktop tools like word processing, MS-Excel, MS-Access, presentations, and web development skills.
