Job Overview:
This Technician Job is for the position of Senior Technician – Lab at TUV SUD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. in Gurugram, India. The position is full-time/regular and follows an onsite working model. The selected candidate will perform sampling and testing of textile materials, operate test equipment, document results, follow quality and safety guidelines, assist senior personnel, and maintain the laboratory and testing instruments according to defined procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sampling and testing of textile materials as per defined testing standards and SOPs.
- Operate and handle test equipment in accordance with prescribed procedures.
- Ensure accurate recording of test results and maintain proper documentation.
- Follow quality, safety, and compliance guidelines during all testing activities.
- Assist senior lab personnel in routine and specialized testing tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and testing instruments.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.Tech / Diploma in Textile Engineering or M.Sc. (Textiles, Chemistry or relevant field).
- 3-5 years of experience in textile testing.
- Strong technical understanding of textile testing concepts.
- Basic knowledge of testing standards and laboratory practices.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Good analytical and observation skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a laboratory environment.
