Job Description
For these Intertek lab technician jobs, the selected candidate will conduct all allotted tests as per the procedure/method given in the worksheet or as instructed by the Supervisor. Responsibilities include:
- Keeping all necessary records of the tests conducted in the provided format.
- Maintaining cleanliness and impeccable housekeeping in and around the test area.
- Keeping the equipment logbook and calibration records up to date.
- Providing required information about the progress of jobs to the coordinators.
- Reporting any discrepancies in test material, method, or equipment to the Supervisor.
- Ensuring timely test reports and reviewing them while entering in the worksheet.
- Conducting a responsible review of all data sheets and ensuring accurate lab results.
- Monitoring and utilising lab consumables effectively.
- Ensuring personal safety while working by using appropriate PPE.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a plastic testing laboratory or plastic manufacturing. Educational qualifications include a Degree/Diploma in plastic or B.Sc in Physics or Chemistry.
