Job Description
The Research Scientist will report to the Group Leader and will be responsible for conducting scientific experiments, analysing results, and contributing to the discovery and
pre-development of innovative molecules aimed at enhancing crop protection and growth. This role is crucial for adding significant value to the business of PI Industries.Key Responsibilities
- Actively embody the values and philosophy of PI Industries.
- Contribute to the success of CreAgro Chemistry by driving innovation and team performance.
- Fulfil requirements as set by the Group Leader and Team Leader within specific research projects.
- Ensure the security of intellectual property for CreAgro, including patent applications.
- Stay updated on chemistry knowledge through literature scanning to foster innovation.
- Support the Team Leader with a focus on target setting and seek functional feedback.
Eligibility Criteria
- MSc/PhD in Organic/Analytical Chemistry from a reputed University/Institute.
- Postdoctoral research experience in a reputed university is preferred.
- 1-7 years of experience in the industry, particularly in discovery, process, or development chemistry.
- Experience in agrochemical, fine chemical, or pharmaceutical industries is desirable.
Required Skills
- Strong scientific knowledge and research approach.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experimentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other chemistry and analytical teams.
